my life moves a little "slower" than my peers. but i always set the goal of being better than i was yesterday, little by little.
this is my first painting of the sky. a purple-pink sky with power lines. the strokes were clumsy, but i will always remember that first painting.
- This same mindset is why I am still in business after so many years and why I am excited to go to work every morning. Many dread going to work every morning… So many people hate their jobs... And everybody can’t wait to retire. That’s because too many people have the wrong mentality. They want what’s easy not what’s difficult to achieve. They surrender to their ego thinking they are good as they are, and see self improvement as unnecessary. Those of us who keep improving and see each day as another opportunity to do things better, learn something extra, and improve upon our skills will always thrive for more. I commend you for your attitude towards self improvement and pushing each day to be a little better than the day before.
While I have many friends and I connect with their souls in having close relationships, 95% of such friends are content with the same lives they complain about. and that’s why as time goes on, it becomes harder to talk together because all they do is complain versus taking steps to improve themselves. maybe if people change little things each day, in time they will see big improvements.
